03. Our inner Recesses

My 2007~2009 exhibition in New York created discussions on what is to be recognized
as allowed and appropriate to exhibit. The content of my work was considered to
be too upfront. This experience led me to question the openness that we have in
the art society today. Do we really have an open art situation or is it just an
institution of boundaries to contain our procreations within? Is the freedom of
expression an endless resource or does it have restrictions?
